September is Hunger Action Month

September is Hunger Action Month – Feeding America’s awareness campaign to bring together our national network of food banks to raise awareness and fight hunger.

1 in 5 Arkansans are facing hunger.  A statistic that shapes and drives our mission of fighting hunger.  Throughout the month of September we will introduce you to who is the face of hunger: the single mom working two jobs, the disabled Vet, the child who survived the summer without free lunches, the family stretched too thin and offer ways you can face hunger for your neighbor in need.

Below is a calendar of events with various ways you can face hunger with us and help make our communities better now and for future generations.

Advocate. Educate. Volunteer. Donate. Everyone has a role to play in fighting hunger. Take action today.
