The Arkansas Foodbank has partnered with Girl Scouts – Diamonds to create the Hunger Fighter Patch Program!
Troops will learn about hunger, volunteer at the Foodbank and host a small food drive to help fight hunger in their communities!
There are 3 steps to earning the patch for your Troop. Check off the following and then complete the form in the last step!
- Step 1: Download the curriculum at the bottom of the page for your Troop and set aside some meeting time to talk about hunger in Arkansas and complete the curriculum
- Step 2: Register your Troop to come volunteer with the Foodbank! We have set aside two “Girl Scout Days” in our warehouse. Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator to schedule your own volunteer time at 501-569-4320. Each scout will need a signed waiver to participate in the warehouse.
- Step 3: Host a food drive and experience the impact you can have by collecting food for our hungry neighbors. Contact our Corporate Partnership Coordinator 501-565-8121 for our list of top-needed items and for ideas about promoting your drive!
- Step 4: Fill out the form here to complete the Hunger Fighter Patch!
