Additional Information about signing up to be a volunteer:
Individual Volunteers: Every individual volunteer will need their own individual CERVIS profile page in order to sign up for service events and service projects. Please create your profile page with a personal email address which prevents the duplication of profile pages in CERVIS but also allows us to communicate with you as needed.
Group Volunteers: Group Leaders must register the entire number of group members in their group before their service day. There are three steps that must be completed by a group leader to register a group to volunteer at the Foodbank. Step one: The group Leader must complete a group request form. Step two: The group leader must wait until they hear back from the volunteer coordinator, Amber Bryant, to confirm that form was received. Step Three: The group leader must receive a their confirmation email that will confirm their registration day, time, and additional information. The group leader must enter their confirmed number of team members on the group request form. There will not be any exceptions made on the service day to accompany additional team members without prior approval from the volunteer coordinator. Please complete a volunteer group request form by clicking here and it will submitted to the Volunteer Coordinator for approval.
Volunteer Age Restrictions: Volunteers must be at least eight (8) years of age to work in our warehouse. Volunteers 8-15 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers 16-18 years old do not require an adult to accompany them to volunteer in our warehouse.
