AgHeritage: 23 Years of Fighting Hunger in Arkansas

As we celebrate National Co-Op Month, we’re proud to spotlight a partner whose commitment to community runs deep. For 23 of our 41 years, AgHeritage Farm Credit Services has stood beside the Arkansas Foodbank in the fight against hunger—giving generously, showing up for our neighbors, and helping us feed thousands of Arkansans each year.

In 2026, AgHeritage will once again serve as the presenting sponsor of our 24th Annual Empty Bowls Gala, a signature event that raises critical funds to support our mission. Their leadership in this space is no surprise. Over the years, they’ve also supported our Food for the Holidays Telethon with KARK4, helping families gather around full tables during the most meaningful times of the year.

In Arkansas, 1 in 5 residents face food insecurity. That means thousands of individuals, children, and seniors are unsure where their next meal will come from. AgHeritage’s support helps us meet those families where they are—through mobile pantries, community distributions, and agency partnerships that make healthy food accessible.

Their impact is especially felt through our Food for Families program, which serves more than 280,000 Arkansans across our 33-county service area. These are working families, seniors on fixed incomes, and parents doing their best to provide. Ag Heritage’s support helps ensure they don’t have to choose between food and other essentials.

“We’ve been proud to support the Arkansas Foodbank for more than two decades,” said Greg Cole, President and CEO of AgHeritage Farm Credit Services. “Investing in programs like Food for Families allows us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors. When families have access to nutritious food, they have the stability to grow, thrive, and contribute to their communities.”

We’re honored to recognize AgHeritage for their lifetime giving of more than 1,000,000 meals. We are grateful for their 23 years of partnership, generosity, and unwavering commitment to ending hunger in Arkansas!
