September Corporate Partner of the Month: AgHeritage
Over the last 20+ years, we have been so fortunate to partner with AgHeritage Farm Credit Services, and this September, we’re excited to honor them as our Corporate Partner of the Month! AgHeritage provides financial services to farmers and members of the agriculture industry, which is a key industry in our state.
“By providing financial services to farmers and rural communities, our association indirectly supports the availability and accessibility of food,” says Lana Stovall, Marketing & Retail Support Specialist. “Both organizations strive to improve the well-being of individuals and communities by addressing nutrition and food security, particularly in rural areas.”
AgHeritage’s financial support has helped provide food for more than 690,000 meals for families, children and seniors facing hunger, but it doesn’t stop there. They also engage their employees in volunteering to make an even greater impact. AgHeritage has participated in our annual Empty Bowls event, Telethon, and volunteered in our Volunteer Operations Center. Lana says, “these activities allow for hands-on involvement and a chance to see the impact.” These opportunities have also allowed the AgHeritage team to gain a sense of fulfillment and pride through their hands-on involvement.
On partnering with the Foodbank, Lana says it provides, “insight into the challenges faced by individuals and families who struggle to access nutritious food on a regular basis. The Arkansas Foodbank plays a crucial role in providing food assistance to those facing hunger in our state.”
We are proud to fill that role, but none of it would be possible without the continued generosity and support of our partners, like AgHeritage. We are beyond thankful for all they have done and will continue to do to provide food and hope to Arkansans facing hunger.
