Crenisha Wright brings over twenty years of expertise in information technology experience to her role as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Arkansas Foodbank. In this capacity, Crenisha directs the strategic planning and execution of all technology-driven initiatives. Drawing from a background in IT management, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence, she has successfully spearheaded multiple projects to optimize the network infrastructure, enhance information systems, and propel technology adoption. Under her leadership, which started in July of 2021, the food bank has experienced a complete revitalization of its network infrastructure and hardware, the successful launch of its first client-intake database system, and the upgrading of multiple software and telecommunication systems to meet industry standards.
Before joining Arkansas Foodbank, Crenisha held various technology-focused positions within the education sector. She has a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Central Arkansas, a MBA in Management from Texas A&M University, a Graduate Certificate in Data Science and a MS in Information Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR). She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Sciences at UALR.
Crenisha is an esteemed leader at the intersection of technology and food banking. She was invited to speak on the main stage at the Feeding America National Conference on utilizing business intelligence tools for food banking. In 2023, Crenisha was featured by Arkansas Money & Politics as one of the readers’ favorite C-Suite executives. She currently serves on the Pulaski County Broadband Board and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
