Sherri Jones is the Chief Programs Officer of the Arkansas Foodbank. As CPO, Sherri oversees all aspects of the organization’s Food For Kids, Food For Families, Food For Seniors and Pop Up Pantry programs throughout the Foodbank’s 33 county service area.
She began her career at the Arkansas Foodbank in 2018 in the Development Department, most recently holding the title of Senior Director of Development and Community Engagement. Sherri has over 30 years of sales and management experience with 26 years in the nonprofit sector. She joined the Foodbank after a long career at the American Cancer Society holding the roles of Area Director for Eastern Arkansas, Community Engagement Director and Executive Director for Metro Little Rock and Northwest Arkansas, and Community Development Director for the State of Arkansas and Northern Mississippi. While at ACS, she was instrumental in the development of their Real Mean Wear Pink campaign that has raised over $40 million nationwide since its inception.
Sherri was named the 2022 Association of Fundraising Professionals – Arkansas Chapter Outstanding Fundraising Professional. She has served on the board of the Arkansas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals for over four years and currently serving as the President of the Arkansas Chapter. She has served as the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Chairman and was part of the team that developed the Taste of the Rock event. She served as the Sales and Marketing Executives International Arkansas Chapter President and Board Chairman.
Sherri has been married to her husband Casey for thirty-two years, they have two adult daughters, Brittany Loyd and Sydney Elmore, two son-in-laws, Jesse Loyd and Andrew Elmore and two precious grandsons, Bryson and Brooks Loyd. Sherri and her husband, Casey, reside in Benton and enjoy spending their time on Lake Ouachita with their family.
